Event Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct applies to everyone participating in Plan X – including attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, volunteers, and any other guests – regardless of role or affiliation.

Our goal is to create a safe, respectful, and productive environment for all participants. By attending Plan X, you agree to follow these standards.

Anti-Harassment

We are committed to providing a positive, harassment-free experience for all, regardless of gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, age, or religion. Harassment in any form will not be tolerated at Plan X or at any official or affiliated event.

Harassment includes (but is not limited to):

  • Verbal comments or actions related to gender, sexuality, disability, appearance, race, age, or religion.
  • Sexual images or language in public spaces.
  • Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following.
  • Unauthorised photography or recording.
  • Sexualised or harassing content in presentations.
  • Inappropriate physical contact or unwelcome sexual attention.
  • Encouraging or advocating for any of the above behaviour.

If you experience or witness harassment, please report it immediately — either in person to a designated Plan X team member or via email at info@planx.com. All reports will be handled in strict confidence.

Enforcement of Anti-Harassment Policy

Anyone asked to stop harassing behaviour is expected to comply immediately.
We reserve the right to take any lawful action, including issuing a warning or expelling the offender without refund. Exhibitors and sponsors must ensure their materials, activities, and staff attire are free from sexualised imagery or inappropriate conduct.

Prohibited Activities (Unethical or Non-Compliant Practices)

Plan X enforces a strict ban on the promotion, discussion, or endorsement of illegal, unethical, or non-compliant activities in the finance, investment, and crypto sectors, including but not limited to:

  • Fraudulent or misleading investment schemes.
  • Insider trading or market manipulation.
  • Unlicensed financial services or products.
  • Misrepresentation of credentials, performance, or returns.
  • Activities in breach of anti-money laundering (AML) or know-your-customer (KYC) regulations.

Any attendee found engaging in or promoting such activities will be removed from the event without refund and may be permanently barred from future Plan X conferences.

Property Care

Participants must respect the event venue, equipment, and materials at all times. Any damage, vandalism, or destruction will result in liability for repair or replacement costs.

Dress Code

Plan X attracts a global audience. Please choose attire that reflects professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and respect for our diverse community. Clothing with political slogans or military-style fatigues is not appropriate.
We reserve the right to ask any participant to change attire or leave the event if their appearance or conduct is deemed inappropriate or offensive.

Alcohol, Smoking, and Substances

  • Smoking (including vapes and e-cigarettes) is only permitted in designated areas.
  • Alcohol must be consumed responsibly and only by those of legal drinking age in the UAE.
  • Visible intoxication or disruptive behaviour may result in refusal of service or removal from the event.
  • The use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal without refund.

Suitcasing and Outboarding

  • Suitcasing: Soliciting business at the event without being an exhibitor or sponsor is prohibited.
  • Outboarding: Hosting competing events during Plan X without prior approval is prohibited.

Attendees found engaging in these activities may be removed and refused entry to future events.

Safety and Security

Security checks may be conducted at any time. Plan X is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items — attendees are encouraged to keep belongings secure. We reserve the right to remove any individual for violations of this Code.

Health & Safety Protocols

All attendees must comply with the event’s health and safety guidelines, which may change based on regulations or organiser requirements. Failure to follow these protocols may result in removal from the event and a ban from future participation.

This Code of Conduct may be updated at any time at the organiser’s discretion.
